The morning of May 22

It has already been a BUSY morning here! We got our chicks late last night! They are the cutest things I have ever seen! All six are doing great, and starting to warm up to humans. They haven't been named yet, but I'm sure that will be done this afternoon..
It was also "freaky friday" at Caleb's school, so he asked that I do something fun to his hair..the scary thing is I think he likes it a little too much, and might be wanting to wear his hair like this everyday! hahaha
I will post more pictures of the kids with the chicks later!

Let the Birthday celebration begin!

So the birthday begins!! And by no surprise we started the morning off with a Katie "teenage temper-tamtrum"....she was NOT happy that she wasn't going to school today, and spent a good 10 mins just crying on the couch. So it's really official, she is a teenage girl! Jim is not excited!!

Here are a couple of the presents that Katie has gotten so far...I tried to hide them, but as you all know she found them and cried until I let her open them!

There is no school for the kids today, so the three of us are doing some running around. Then when Jim gets home we will have dinner and Katies favorite Ice Cream Cake! Yum! I will post more pictures after cake and presents tonight.

First blog...
