Yesterday we had a great day in San Francisco! We took the kids and went to Pier 39. We did the aquarium, ate some fresh seafood, and just walked around for the day. It was BEAUTIFUL weather yesterday!

Tomorrow is the day we find out the sex of the baby!! I am so excited, but kind of nervous, I don't know why...

Just and update

I have been forgetting to blog again.... well not really forgetting, just been doing everyday things so nothing too exciting to post.
But I thought I would just check in so no one thinks I have abandoned the blog:)
Kids are doing great. Caleb is working on his Indian project this week, he is very creative. Katie is doing great in therapy, she goes 2 times a week.
Jim is doing good, busy with work. But we appreciate him so much for working as hard as he does to provide for all of us. His work ethic is AMAZING!
We are counting down the days until we find out if we are having a brother or sister!! I still go back and forth as to what the sex is. Jim is still 100% that it is a boy, so we shall see:) Hard to believe it's only a week away. I don't know where the time is going...

Family update

Well I made it through the cold I got last week! Thank goodness it is on it's way out! It is a pretty typical week around here. School, work, sports, etc.
Katie is responding well to her physical therapy and medication, so we are very happy with that!
Caleb is doing better at school. His basketball game Sat. was great! They played the team they played in their first game(the lost by like 20 points) but this time the only lost by a few points(and it was all due to fouls) So they are getting better and better. I don't know if I mentioned before, but Caleb has been going to an after school karate program 2 days a week. He LOVES it! The teacher is great with the kids and helps them with life issues and teaches them how to solve problems out in the real world. Caleb just earned his first "stripe" He had to show certain moves and show control with them to earn it! He is very proud(yay!)
As for the baby- I have felt some "bubbly" sensations, but not a lot. I think it's still a little early.
We are just counting the days until the big ultra-sound(March23)

Sick

So I am sick! I feel awful. I have a bad sore throat and a deep painful nasty caugh. So needless to say there will be nothing exciting to blog about. Hoping it will be short lived and I will be feeling better soon.

Student of the Month

Today was the student of the month assembly where Caleb recieved his award!! We are so proud of him!! This is a HUGE accomplishment for him:)

Student of the month

I am so proud! Caleb's teacher informed me today that Caleb has been chosen for Student of the Month at school!!!! This year has been a little bit of a struggle for Caleb at school, so I sooo very proud that she is seeing his improvement!
So the awards assembly is this Friday! I will post the pictures then!! Oh and if you talk to Caleb, he doesn't know..they like to surprise the kids:)

Cleaning!

So I haven't had much to post the last few days! I have had the last few days off(it has been a looong time since I had more than one day off) so I have started organizing some things in the house. No I still haven't ventured into the office, but that time will come:)

Baby update

I just got off the phone with Kaiser and I scheduled my big sono appt.
This is the appt that they will tell us the sex of the baby! So I go on Marc 23 in the afternoon!
So start placing your bets:)

Basketball

Caleb is playing basketball with the City Rec league. He is really starting to understand the game and is doing well! The one funny thing he does though..is EVERY time he gets the ball he just passes it as soon as he can! We are trying to get him to take a shot if he has one. It is really funny, but at least we know he is a team player!
Some how I deleted the pictures off of my camera just now, so I will have to take pictures at our next game and post them! Don't worry the pictures are crappy anyway because my camera is NOT made for action shots:(

Lazy Friday

I went to my OB-GYN today just for a regular check up, everything still looks great. I got to hear the heartbeat again nice and strong at 140BPM! I go back in 6 weeks for my next appt. and that will the the BIG appointment, where they will do the big sonogram and tell us the sex of the baby!! I am VERY excited for that appointment:) Not much news there the baby is just growing..
Other than that we are just going to have a quiet evening because tomorrow is work and basketball. Then Sunday is the big Superbowl party! So we are going to rest up for a busy weekend....

"The office"

So we are going to use Jim's "office" as the nursery...those of you that have been to our house often are probably wondering where Jim's office is.. Well that is because I NEVER open the door when people come over. Every time I walk by it makes my head spin, I have organized it MANY times but after a month or so it looks like this again.
So needless to say I am starting this mission NOW, because it will probably take my 3 months just to get all of the paperwork sorted:) And I know you are all now dying to see this room, don't worry I have included a photo. Trust me it's much more horrifying in person! If you don't hear from me for a few days I have been buried alive in here! haha

Blog slacker!

So I have been TERRIBLE about keeping up this blog! I don't know if anyone even checks it anymore, because I have been so lame:) But since we are so busy and everyone is so far away I have committed to blogging at least every couple of days. So we can all stay in touch:)
